Powerful and portable binoculars that bring distant and barely visible objects 12x closer with intensity and clarity. Easy to carry with you wherever you go, they are ideal for bird watching, travel and spectator sports.

A powerful optical Image Stabilizer quickly and accurately counteracts many different types of shake and movement. It even corrects shake introduced while panning if you are following your subject or viewing from a moving vehicle. Significantly reduced power consumption delivers up to 9 hours of continuous use from a single set of batteries*.

Enjoy excellent quality with high resolution and low distortion thanks to Canon's precision optics. The optics feature the Super Spectra coating included in Canon’s renowned EF lens range and delivers a vivid, high contrast view with accurate colour rendition, while eliminating unwanted internal reflections that can cause ghosting and flare.

Experience a beautiful field of view with a clear, flat and low distortion view right to the edges thanks to the field flattener optics and Porro II prism design. See the full field of view in comfort with long 14.5mm eye relief ideal if you wear glasses.

Designed for ease, durability and comfort with a premium grip and feel and large rubber eyecups for comfortable, well balanced viewing. The conveniently placed Image Stabilizer button and smooth focus adjustment ring are easily accessible by a finger from either hand, while large, durable rubber outer coating improve the handling and grip.

Canon's third generation 12x36 IS III Image Stabilized Binoculars feature the proprietary IS system adapted from the lens systems to create this compact optic that compensates for hand-shake to make them ideal for a long day of bird or nature-watching and sporting events. Utilizing Vari-Angle prisms placed between the front lens and the main prism, when the internal gyro sensors vertical or horizontal detect movement they direct the prisms to compensate and correct for external the shaking to produce smoother views and panning. A microcomputer, outfitted with proprietary algorithms, enhances IS operation, aids shorter startup times, and enable more efficient energy consumption.
